Featuring Gudrun Johnston’s stunning new cowl pattern, Cloud Drift, and Madelinetosh Tosh Silk Cloud in Plivver - a limited-editing color dyed just for Simply Shetland to perfectly match our main color shade of Spindrift in Old Gold.
The Cloud Drift Cowl design was inspired by Shetland hap shawls. The cowl is worked flat with yarn overs at the edges and then seamed to form the cowl. It features mosaic knitting, a fun colorwork technique without stranding, all on a garter stitch background. The simple mosaic design creates a gradient effect reminiscent of Sashiko patterns, highlighting the beauty of Shetland yarn held with a Japanese milled yarn.
