Another stunning shawl design from Natasja Hornby! Sylphe is a triangular, heart-shaped shawl that is worked top-down from the center out, starting with a classic Garter Tab cast on. The eye-catching, graceful leaf and flower patterns are created by pulling loops through the fabric.
After Cyndi created a Sylphe shop sample, using Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Light in an incredible citron shade, called Golden Meadow, we knew we had to make some kits for this showstopper of a project! This single ply, 100% Highland Wool fingering weight yarn is perfect for this project because of its ethereal and rustic (yet soft!) nature. This yarn also has a beautiful natural halo, which really shines in this design!
