These beautiful ornaments are handmade in Pennsylvania and carved out of local, sustainably harvested, solid cherry wood. Due to the handmade, unique nature of Hannah's work, the wood grain of the ornament you receive will likely vary slightly from those in the pictures.
This wood is treated with food safe mineral oil, the same oil you'll find on wooden cutting boards. It is not stained or sealed with plastic. Re-oil as you wish to keep the wood soft and cared for. A coconut / beeswax blend is recommended, however mineral oil is fine, too.
