We are thrilled to bring you yarns from Julie Asselin — a small, independent dyer in Quebec, who is all about inspiration, community, and craftsmanship.
Journey is Julie's special blend of North American fibers (Rambouillet + Targhee): a smooth, bouncy "wooly wool" that blooms beautifully into a soft, warm, lofty fabric when worn. Julie's technique of adding color to the fleece before the spinning process creates a sophisticated depth that really shines in textured stitches and cables. Sturdy yet lightweight, we love this yarn for everything from shawls and accessories to garments, and especially colorwork.
