We are thrilled to introduce you to Julie Asselin — a small, independent dyer in Quebec, who is all about inspiration, community, and craftsmanship.
Anatolia is a versatile, beautifully haloed yarn with a silk finish. It’s the perfect yarn to strand with other types of yarn to add a soft fluffy halo with a subtle glow. Or knit it by itself to create a lofty, airy fabric.
We chose to bring this line into Stars Hollow because not only do we love working with Julie and her team, her exceptional colors and her dyeing technique, but also because of her choice of fibre blend. Anatolia has one of the highest percentages of silk we've found in a mohair blend — it glides over your needles, has slightly more drape than the usual laceweight mohair, and the sheen is more beautiful than you can imagine.
Simply put: We love this yarn.
